  Recommendations and best practices to help you
  optimize your website for search engines. This
  presentation will help you understand Google
  Webmaster Guidelines that help Google to find,
  index, and rank your site.
SUBMIT YOUR WEBSITE AT GOOGLE

 As Google Webmaster Guideline say go to the Google
 submission page and add your website. You don’t need to
 do it more than once. The goal of this submission is to let
 Google know that your site exists.

 Submit it to Google at http://www.google.com/addurl.html.
SUBMIT A SITEMAP ON GOOGLE WEBMASTER
TOOLS
 Creating and submitting a Sitemap helps Google to know
 about all the pages on your website, this includes the URLs
 that Google may not be able to discover during normal
 crawling process. Please click the following link to know more

MAKE A SITE WITH A CLEAR HIERARCHY AND
TEXT LINKS
             “Make a site with a clear hierarchy and
           text links. Every page should be reachable
                  from at least one static text link.”

Static text link
  A static text link is a link written in correct HTML that search engine
  crawlers can easily follow. Search engine crawlers may not read links
  created by using Javascript, Flash, or other technologies.
Hierarchy
  Clear hierarchy not only allow users to easily navigate the site but
  also makes it easier for search engines to know what your site is all
  about.
Example of a clear hierarchy:
CREATE VALUABLE, INFORMATION-RICH SITE

       Create a useful, information-rich site, and write
       pages that clearly and accurately describe your
                           content.


 Create useful content for your visitors, if your
 visitors won’t find your website useful they won’t
 return to your website, and they won’t add links to
 your website.

Useful Content = More visitors and more links= More
             traffic = More conversions
USE TEXT FOR IMPORTANT TITLES, CONTENT
AND LINKS

     Try to use text instead of images to display important names,
      content, or links. The Google crawler doesn't recognize text
        contained in images. If you must use images for textual
      content, consider using the "ALT" attribute to include a few
                         words of descriptive text.

 Google bot can’t read images so you must use text
 for displaying important names, content, and links.
 And whenever you use images for textual content,
 you must use “ALT” attribute. “ALT” tells search
 engines what image is all about.
