5. WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU
SPOT A FACIAL WART?

6. MEDICAL TREATMENTS FOR FACIAL WARTS
Medical treatments for facial warts are: treatment with liquid nitrogen, electro-
cauterization and surgical excision and they go along with the use of some
prescription medications.
These treatments are performed with local anaesthesia so they are painless but
they can leave behind minor scars. They are recommended for more serios cases
of warts infection.
These treatments take from several days to several weeks to complete.
Like most warts treatments, they do not guarantee that you will be 100% warts
free in future.

7. HOME TREATMENT WITH TEA TREE OIL
Tea tree oil is a powerful warts remedy because of its strong
anti-viral properties.
The treatment consists of applying tea tree oil on warts several times
during the day.
During the night, soak some cotton with the oil and fix it over your
wart with an adhesive tape. You can remove the bandage in the
morning, wash the wart and let it dry.
Tea tree oil can be too stong for the sensitive skin so please dilute it
with water or Aloe Vera gel (50% tea tree oil and 50% water or Aloe
Vera gel).
If there is no, or little effect, you can use pure tea tree oil.
The wart treated with tea tree oil should disappear within a few days
to a few weeks.

8. HOME TREATMENT WITH ALOE VERA
Aloe Vera has been famous for its healing properties for
centuries.
If you have Aloe Vera plant, squeeze out some oil and rub it on
your wart or use Aloe Vera gel that you can buy in the
pharmacy.
Apply some Aloe Vera on your wart several times a day and in
the evening soak a small piece of cotton with Aloe Vera and
place it over the wart using medical tape.
Aloe Vera is the least evasive of all warts remedies but can be
slow so the treatment will probably last several weeks before the
wart disappears.
