14. Craigslist Most postings will tell you where the work is, the type of work, what’s expected of you, and a contact number or e-mail.
We have a how-to sheet for the three most popular e-mail sites: Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail. I recommend Gmail.
You can use the “Tab” key to get from blank space to black space. Pay attention to what they are asking for, so you don’t make a mistake!
You’ll want to use “Copy and Paste” if you have already created your resume on a website like Michigan Works!
Most resume/job search sites, like Monster and Career Builder, work the same way. Sign up for an account, post your resume, and start looking. They will also send you e-mails when jobs are posted that match your search.
