ExamView® and Workspace™
To place the Open ExamView icon on the toolbar:
1. Launch the Workspace Software .
2. Click the Drop down arrow on the Workspace Toolbar and then choose
Preferences.
3. Click Customize Toolbar tab.
4. Locate the Open ExamView file button and drag and drop it down to the Main Toolbar.
5. Click OK and Yes to save scheme (you may have to name the scheme. Just type in a name for your
customized toolbar option).
Now that the Open ExamView icon is on the Workspace toolbar, you can now bring your ExamView content into Workspace.
To bring an ExamView file into Workspace:
1. Open the Workspace software.
2. Add a blank page by clicking the Create a Blank Page icon .
3. On the toolbar, click the Open ExamView icon .

4. When the open dialogue box appears, browse for your ExamView file and click OK.
5. Use the ExamView Toolbar in the bottom left of the screen to navigate through your ExamView content.
Open an ExamView File
Left Navigation Arrow—Use to navigate through your ExamView file questions.
Right Navigation Arrow—Use to navigate through your ExamView file questions.
Question Selection—Use this to jump directly to a specific question in the ExamView file.
Show Correct Answer—Click this button to show the correct response.
Recalculate Question—Click this button to recalculate values on Dynamic Questions
Launch a CPS Session—Click this button to launch a CPS Session to have students respond using the CPS Student
Response Pads.
