Burns Night in 2016
NES Calgary raised over $11,000 for a
Children’s hospital.
Our annual Burns supper is a celebration of
the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns,
author of many Scottish poems. Dinner and
dancing is followed by a raffle which helped
to raise over $11,900 CAD on the night.
Mammography Day in 2015
NES Houston raises over $1000
NES Houston all wore pink for the day and
ran a variety of competitions to raise over
$1000. The funds raised go towards
providing specialist nurses, local services
and a vital emotional support network, to
those who need it.

NES Qatar and the Philippines raises
$1,500 for White Cross Orphanage
White Cross Orphanage is a child caring
agency in San Juan, Philippines that
provides temporary shelter for children,
who are 0–6 years old and gives refuge to
those who may have mentally or
physically-incapacitated parents. These
children are provided with medical
assistance, educational care, and financial
support to help them in their early years.
