Zene Va'Ros Restoration Plan
1. By Ericca A, Hannah O, Jensen T, and Morgan T
ZENE VA’ROS
2. Environmental Damages:
Chemicals
The PCB’s from creating CD’s in our town can affect
water, soil, and the human body if ingested
Example: ingestion- If an affected fish has been eaten
Example: absorption- the movement of substances into
cells or through tissues such as skin by diffusion or
osmosis
Once PCB’s have entered these places anyone or
anything that comes in contact with this chemical is at a
serious risk
PCB’s can easily move into skin and be absorbed by the
body
3. Environmental Damages Chemicals Continued
• Plastic manufacturing involves the use of hazardous chemicals like benzene
and vinyl chloride
•One form of soil contamination is when the water washes chemicals from an
area and deposits the contaminated soil in another area.
•Contaminated soil can hurt plants when they attempt to grow because it
goes up their roots.
•Contaminants in the soil can adversely impact the health of humans and
animals when they ingest, inhale, or touch c0ntaminated soil.
•Certain contaminants are attached to small surface soil particles they can
become airborne as dust and can be inhaled
4. Environmental Damage: Waste
•Plastic garbage is bad for the
environment, when you throw away CD’s
this only adds to the problem.
•Finished products like CD’s are often non-
bio degradable, and are widely recognized
sources of pollution.
• Their disposal creates irreversible
environmental damage in land and air
•Nearly every piece of plastic ever made
STILL exists today much of this is dumped
in the ocean
5. Environmental Damage: Aesthetics
Before
• All this waste and
chemicals damage the
environment , and also
places in nature that
were once beautiful are
now nothing more than
a waste landfill for all
CD’s we once produced.
•As citizens find this
displeasing, they move
to another city for this
reason and many more. After
•Our once great river
also was polluted and
completely destroyed
the health of it.

lived in the water and depended
on our river's ecosystems on this river.
The vegetation around the river
also greatly suffered
7. Plan of Action: Part One
On the issue of soil
contamination, the
following will be put into
action:
•Soil will be left and
treated in the ground.
We will do this by
flushing contaminants
out of the soil using air.
•This has been proven to
work by the EPA.
(Environmental
Protection Agency)
8. Plan of Action: Part Two
First off, we will close off the pipe that releases
waste into Serenity and find a better outlet
To purify the water a solid block activated
carbon(SBAC) process will be used. This is the
least expensive process and does not require
electricity or high water pressure
There will be a mutual public system used for
all water ,but also single unit water purification
systems will be put into every home.
After the water has been cleaned, a water
security system will be put in. This system will
take periodic samples and analyzing them for
contaminants
These can alert water utility operators of
potential contamination and the need for
further sampling and analysis
The control center will 24 hours everyday of
the year
9. Plan of Action: Part Three
• Since many CD’s are not being disposed of properly and there is a lot of waste
we decided to:
1. Reuse- 2. Recycle-
• Instead of throwing away the • CDs can be recycled for use in

10. Plan of Action: Part Four
To add beauty back to our
town. All the money raised
from recycling CD’s will be
put into cleaning the land
and adding parks.
We will add plants to the
park and replant
vegetation around the
river.
11. Our Future
•We believe that all these
things put together will
bring back a great city.
•With your help all these
things and move can be
possible!
