2. From The Desk Of Mike Tasche
Hello everyone,
First of all let me thank all of you that took advantage of our large inventory and purchased a vehicle from us.
The good news is we delivered 136 vehicles in November. We delivered over 56 different makes and models
to customers in over 42 different zip codes including 5 different states. Another great thing to see is 55 of our
vehicles were Hyundai’s and we also delivered almost half of our vehicles in Sheboygan County. Helping lo-
cal customers get their dream car is something we take very seriously.
Question of the month: Why do so many people buy used vehicles from our dealership?
I can answer this question by breaking it into four different parts.
Part One: Selection
As I look around the different dealerships in and outside of Sheboygan County one
very big thing keeps coming up. We stock just about every make and model, includ-
ing many hard to find vehicles.
We believe in stocking all of the normal top selling models, but we also believe in
stocking all of the hard to find maybe not as popular models. Like ice cream, most
people have different tastes and can only fill that void by getting what they want.
We believe in filling that void so we stock over 100 different makes and models.
Small cars and large cars. Four, six, or eight cylinders. Hybrids and muscle cars. Lit-
tle trucks or large one ton duallys. Mini vans and cross over vehicles. Also of course many SUVs which are
always very popular.
If for some reason we don’t have it I think it might even be possible for us to build it for you. We truly do
have something for everyone.
Part Two: High Content
Many of our used vehicles come with the features you didn’t think you could find or afford.
Things like: On Screen Navigations, Power Sunroofs, Dual Screen DVD Players,
Heated Steering Wheels, Back-Up Cameras, Blind Spot and Cross Path Detec-
tions, Uconnects, Sirius Radio/TV/Travels, Remote USB Ports, Power Folding 3rd
Row’s, Heated and Cooled Leather Seating.
Almost any other features you can think of are available on many of our vehicles.
If the vehicle you select is missing something you desire please ask us, chances are
it can be added to your dream car.

3. Part Three: Price
This is a great part of your story. We’re kind of like Wal-Mart in that we buy
in bulk. We have buyers all across the United States looking for great deals.
And when we find a great deal we don’t just buy one. Many times you will
find the exact model you want and we will have it in five different colors to
choose from. Our buying power allows us to acquire vehicles at a substantial
savings. And like Wal-Mart, when you buy at a lower price you can offer it to
the public at a lower price.
Van Horn is the #1 used vehicle retailer in Wisconsin. We price our vehicles below market price to move
them quickly and end up turning 90% of our inventory in less than 30 days. It truly is a great thing when it
becomes both a buyer’s and seller’s market at the same time. Everyone Wins!
Part Four: We Stand Behind What We Sell.
Many dealerships brag about customer service ,but when you need some goodwill they
disappear. Here at Van Horn we know that problems can arise so we believe in standing
behind what we sell.
All of your vehicles start out with a full mechanical and structural inspection. Then we
stand behind what we inspect. Next we offer a Carfax or Autocheck report on everything
we sell. These reports will show our vehicles come with a Clean Title History Report.
Next almost all of our vehicles come with either factory warranties or the Van Horn
100,000 mile warranty. And finally, because of the extra steps we take during the inspec-
tion and repair process, we have service contracts available on most of our vehicles that
will last up to 125,000 miles.
That my friends is the best peace of mind in the industry.
Well that’s it for now. Please share the news with your friends, neighbors, and relatives. Van Horn and Hyun-
dai really are the dealership and manufacture that covers you for everything you need.
I hope you all enjoyed this information and I’m sure there will be more to come very soon. If you have any
suggestions or things you would like me to talk about in future editions of our Van Horn Compass please
email me at miket@vanhornhyundai.com

Why Should You Simonize Your Vehicle? By: Marsha Kluss
Glass coat provides coverage to your vehicles paint that you do not get from manufacturer.
How Does Glass Coat Protect Your Vehicle?
Glass coat is a clear liquid that is applied to the clear coat of your vehicle. Unlike traditional
waxes and sealants that simply “coat the surface” glass coat chemically reacts and cross links
to the surface of the clear coat to form a three dimensional network. The end result is an
extremely clear, tough, and durable ceramic film that adheres so strong to the clear coat that
not even organic solvents can remove it.
Exterior Coverage Includes:
Weather induced acid rain, bird droppings, tree sap, all insects, spray paint, hard water spots,
sun caused fading, and chalking or loss of gloss.
Simonize has a Teflon-based process that is applied to the interior seats, floor mats and
carpeting.
Carpet and seat coverage includes: staining from sodas, coffee, milk, fast foods, ice cream,
baby food, chewing gum, oil based stains, urine, crayons, lipstick, facial make up, blood
and vomit.
Zero deductible for repairs and up to a 7 year warranty.
Simonize will provide you with a rental car if your vehicle needs to be repaired.

5. Strange Christmas Facts Source: ChristmasFacts.net
“Pets are people too” This may be what pet owners are thinking during the
Christmas season. It has been estimated that at least 56 percent of Americans
sing to their pets. It may just be more fulfilling considering that pets cannot
possibly complain.
The people at Reynolds make a substantial amount of money selling foil
during the Yuletide season. It has been confirmed that at least 3,000 tons of
foil are used to wrap turkeys annually.
Warning: Christmas shopping may be hazardous to your health. If you are an avid Christmas
shopper statistics have concluded that you will be elbowed at least three times while shopping.
Ouch!
Christmas is a great time to exercise. You will walk an average of five miles
between the parking lot and stores, however, don't let this give you a false sense
of security. Most people still gain those pesky Christmas pounds despite this.
It was once believed that any woman who went under a mistletoe and was not kissed would not
marry in the coming year.
If you counted all the gifts that were given in the song “Twelve
Days of Christmas” you would realize that the number of gifts
being presented were 364 in total, thus a gift was given for each
day of the year.
Christmas was illegal in England from 1647-1660. This was enforced by the then leader Oliver
Cromwell who believed it was immoral to hold celebrations on one of the holiest days of the
year. The celebration of Christmas was therefore a criminal offence which could lead to an
individual being arrested if he or she was found guilty of condoning any revelry during the
period.
Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with, thanks to the different time
zones and the rotation of the earth.

Know your car’s future trade-in value, today.
Purchasing a new vehicle is one of life’s big
events. You want to know everything you can
about the true value of your options. But at the
time of purchase, how can you know the future
trade-in value of the vehicle you are considering?
Introducing the Hyundai Assurance Trade-In
Value Guarantee. A program that future-
proofs the value of your new Hyundai by
guaranteeing today exactly how much it will be
worth, two, three, or four years from now.
Hyundai: Impressive value today. Guaranteed
value down the road.
How the Hyundai Trade-in Value Guarantee
works
At the time of purchase, customers will be
provided with an assessment of the vehicle’s
future value for months 24 through 48, based on
an independent source. This is the guaranteed
value.
When customers return to purchase a new
Hyundai during months 24 through 48 of
ownership, they can trade-in their qualifying
vehicle towards the purchase of a new Hyundai
vehicle.
At the time of trade-in, the customer’s vehicle
will be assessed to determine the current market
value. This current market value will then be
compared to the guaranteed value.
If the vehicle is worth less than what we
guaranteed, the customer will receive the higher
guaranteed trade-in value amount, less any
applicable mileage charges or damage costs.
If the vehicle is worth more than what we
guaranteed, the customer will receive the higher
amount. Win-Win.
