To Whom It May Concern;
As the former Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Omni Films International, Inc., it was my
responsibility to hire a marketing manager with the vision and talents to implement a marketing
plan that would move our company forward at a time when competition in the international
amusement and theme park arena was at an all-time high. To that end, I conducted an
extensive search for the “right person” who not only shared our vision of the future, but had the
talents and resources available to make it all happen; I found that individual in Valerie Morawa.
Immediately upon her arrival at Omni Films, Valerie “hit the ground running” and never stopped
until the merger of Omni Films and Iwerks Entertainment brought about corporate policy
changes that no longer identified Omni Films as a separate subsidiary company.
Until that time, Valerie was an indispensable member of Omni Film’s management team as well
as a talented, creative and resourceful problem-solver who would work around the clock to meet
deadlines and keep multiple projects simultaneously moving forward.
Often, turn-around time for complicated marketing, sales and proposal production pieces was
incredibly short. Valerie always delivered on-time within a reasonable budget. Her sales
background and knowledge of consumer marketing proved invaluable when a customer support
program was planned for Omni Film’s end users. Unfortunately, that program was never
implemented from the Iwerks/Sarasota office and the marketing department in Sarasota was
eliminated as part of a corporate downsizing measure brought about by the corporate merger.
At the time, I was saddened by her departure from Omni Films.
In addition to her creative talents, I found Valerie to be a person of strong moral character and
extremely loyal in her personal and professional associations. Besides paying close attention to
detail with purposeful perspective, she is intelligent, personable, thoughtful, hardworking, and
conscientious about managing expectations.
If your organization is truly interested in adding a valuable human asset, I am pleased to give
Valerie my highest recommendation for any sales or marketing position she may choose to
embark upon.
