1. Key Account Manager
Mission: Improve sales and profits & customer satisfaction on their Key
accounts
Responsibilities:
• Customer strategy: You will follow the evolution of the
strategy of the customer (purchasing, brands, logistic,
services…). You will study the market trends & know
how they will affect your accounts. You are meant to
identify & valorise opportunities for new business on
your accounts and to follow competition move per PL.
• Customer relationship Management: You will be in
charge to keep updated the customer contact matrix.
You will identify key unmet customer needs & assess
their potential. You will also find opportunities to build
up multilevel relationships & keep a very good
customer intimacy.
• Contribution to budget: You must elaborate
Customer Development Plan (CDP) for each major
account which will be your roadmap: the CDP is the
way to secure budget of the customer and
encapsulates means and levers to reach turnover and
gross margin targets set by the Sales Director.
• Lead the negotiation: You will be in charge of leading
negotiations with your accounts, respecting delegation
power in place in the division. You will have to
recommend to the Sales Director a negotiation tactic
before each key negotiation. You will have to keep
valorising our added value: Valeo Service as solutions
and service provider. You will also be in charge of
formalizing proposal to be validated by Sales Director.
• Business Management: Monthly tasks including
ensuring pre requisites are fulfilled for your account,
analysing performance of each member / product line
versus the average of the group, ensuring that the right
pathology is identified when the customer is
underperforming, setting up rolling 3 months
customized AP & follow results …
