Mission
Provide all citizens, through the material resources, the
collection and programming of the libraries, free access
to information, knowledge and culture, and perform as
an active agent in the promotion of reading.
Barcelona Libraries want to become, within their fields
of action, a space of connection and networking with
other local cultural, educational and social agents.
