What is seed funding / money ?
• It is the initial capital used to start a business
• It often comes from company founders
personal assets or from friends and family
• Amount of money is relatively small because
business is still in idea or conceptual stage
What is the stage of the venture ?
• Such a venture is typically at pre-revenue
stage or just starting to generate revenue
• Seed funding is needed for covering the
initial operating expenses until product or
service can start generating some revenues
• Once that happens it can start attracting
either Angel Networks or Early Stage VC;s to
  take it further.
What do you do if you don’t
have your own funds or
don’t have friends and
family who can invest in
your company at the seed
stage?
