Pre-op with fractured MOL composite. A purple (large) Wave-Wedge was placed interproximally to
depress the rubber dam and gingival tissues. The wedge was
lubricated to allow it to slide in.

Completed preparation. Note that original restoration extended A 5.5mm V3 Matrix was placed without removing the Wave-
lingually and this created a wide embrasure. Wedge, which acts as a guide for the matrix and also avoids
entrapment of gingival tissue between the matrix and the tooth.
