1994 - City of St. Louis had ZERO miles of
bike facilities
Mid-90’s - built the Riverfront Trail, which
stretches from north of the Arch to Chain of
Rocks bridge (10.8 miles)
2005 – created first 22 miles of on-street
bikeways
2008 – expanded to 75 miles
