2. High School Student
Perspective
My career interest does not require a bachelors degree but, hands on job
training.
I can minimize my college debt if college is not the right path for me.
I can minimize my college debt if I can not afford to attend a public or
private college.
My credits can be transferred to other higher education institutions if I
choose to take that path later.
3. Flexible Learning
Vocational opportunities at the
middle and high school levels
expand students’ knowledge
about multiple career paths
they may never considered
due to rigid school
curriculums.

vocational education vs. without vocational education
6. Where does the evolution of
vocational education begin?
”
“We've done a disservice in this country by suggesting that there's only
one path to success, which is to get a bachelor's degree. There are
many good-paying jobs available today that, quite candidly, a four-year
bachelor of arts degree does not prepare them for.”
-Mark Edwards, Executive Director of Opportunity Nation
Evolution comes with a change in how society looks at success in the
labor force and reproducing it within our educational system.
