banqueting suites are ideally suited for speciality weddings or functions.
The room hire charge for your wedding breakfast and evening reception is included in your
wedding package.
The Paris and London Suites, located adjacent to each other, can each hold up to 350 guests
for a sit down meal or up to 400 guests for a more informal reception.

Accommodation
Wedding night accommodation for the Bride and Groom is included in the wedding package.
20 guest bedrooms will be reserved for your wedding guests. Theses are priced from £59
per room including breakfast. Guests can book these directly with the hotel, and they will be
held as a group allocation which you can share with your friends and family. Any rooms not
booked 4 weeks prior to your wedding day will be released without charge.
Full day event
7am until midnight - up to 300 guests £5000 inc VAT.
Half day event
12pm - 6pm or 6pm - 12am £3000 inc VAT.

6. We understand that choosing the correct caterer for you is very important, therefore we
do not restrict who you use. To protect your event and our hotel we do have a clear set
of guidelines that your caterer needs to work to, please see the terms and conditions for
more details.
Our experienced Kitchen Management Team will meet with your caterer in advance to discuss these
guidelines and ensure that they are all managed directly between our team and your appointed caterer
leaving you free to focus on the day.

7. Terms & Conditions
Booking Terms
We are happy to provisionally hold a date for 14 days with no obligation,
following this time a non-refundable deposit of £500.00 to secure the
date is required. A contract and wedding policy is then issued outlining
an itinerary of the day. Three months prior to the wedding, 50% of the
total anticipated amount is due with full pre-payment being settled at
least 28 days prior to the wedding date. Payment for any additional
charges incurred must be received within 14 days after the wedding.
Accommodation:
Any provisionally booked wedding bedrooms not confirmed 4 weeks
prior to the wedding may be released.
Self Catered weddings
You are required to select a responsible and professional caterer to
cater for your function. The caterer should be able to fulfil the health,
safety and hygiene requirements as set out by the hotel’s health and
safety advisor.
All caterers will be expected to pay a £500 refundable deposit, to
ensure they leave the kitchen in the same state they found it in.
Kitchen Facilities
• Use of the hotel’s banqueting kitchen is included within the
package cost
• Access is available from 10.00am on the day of the event, earlier
access is by prior arrangement only
• The hotel’s health and hygiene regulations must be abided by at all
times. Your caterer must agree to comply by signing a disclaimer
• In compliance with health and safety regulations, all catering staff
must provide and wear at all times hats, protective overalls or chef
whites while in kitchen
• Your caterers are required to sign a declaration that they are
responsible for all food items provided for your event
• No unauthorised personnel, including guests and family members are
allowed to enter the kitchen
• Alcohol consumption in the kitchen area is forbidden, any one seen
consuming alcohol within the kitchen will be asked to leave the
kitchen area and the hotel reserves the right to ban the individual
from entering the kitchens again
• The caterer must ensure that no guests enter the kitchen without
appropriate clothing, one key person will be allocated by the
client to ensure the smooth operation of food supplies – any guests
entering the kitchen should be escorted out immediately
• After the function, all kitchen areas used by the caterers must be
thoroughly cleaned. Only when the Duty Manager has inspected the
kitchen and is satisfied that all cleaning has been completed, can the
caterers leave.
Equipment
• The caterers are responsible for providing all the necessary
equipment in order to prepare and serve the meal. Please note that
no serving dishes are included for your use
• The hotel does not hire or loan any equipment on
your behalf
• If you are having any equipment delivered to the hotel, please note
that we are not responsible for receiving, checking or returning
any items
• Early deliveries of equipment or liquor need to be confirmed with the
hotel before. The hotel will not accept deliveries that have not been
pre-arranged or are unacceptably early or late to a pre-arranged time
• The hotel accepts no liability for any goods left on the premises
before, during or after the function.
Staff
In order to provide the highest levels of service, the following staffing
levels are applied:
• For food service 1 member of staff per 15 guests, including
supervisory staffing
• For buffet service 1 member of staff per 20 guests, including
supervisory staffing
• Limited drinks service staff will be available to assist with putting
drinks supplied by you onto the tables of 1 member of staff
per 50 guests.
Price of £10 per hour per member of staff for a minimum of 4 hours if
provided by the hotel.
Beverage Service
• Corkage will be agreed within your event price, any additional item
brought into the hotel above the agreement will be charged at the
hotels retail price
• The bar must be closed by 12.30 am – a residents bar will be open
after this time
• Your stock, upon delivery will be counted in by our Bar Manager and
recounted at the end of the function. At both times please ensure that
a member of your party is available to verify numbers. Please provide
a stocklist upon delivery
• Queries regarding stock usage must be dealt with on the day of
the function
• No guests or family members are permitted behind the function bar
• Hotel beverage staff will be responsible for placing your stock onto
the tables, not operating any bar or dispense system.
Entertainment
• Entertainment must finish by midnight
• No pyrotechnics are allowed on the premises without a
professional operator
• No smoke machines are permitted in the function rooms without prior
notification and agreement by the hotel.
We recommend that you take out Wedding Insurance.
