7. Returns and Service Cancellations
If you decide you longer want service, you only need to call their customer service number
at 877-477-6507 to let them know. Be advised that you will need to return the equipment
in the original packaging – SAVE THE BOX. Otherwise, you can get appropriate packing
through Acadian but they charge you $15 for it, and you must ensure your package when
shipping it.
All items must be in good condition so it can be resold. You can get a 100% refund in 30
days if the equipment is received by Acadian within that time frame. Any missing or
damaged items will be deducted from you refund.
You can cancel service in the middle of an annual or quarterly contract but you need to get
the equipment back ASAP since Acadian will charge you monthly for the service until they
receive your equipment.
8. Warranty
Lease of Equipment
Your equipment is covered with a lifetime warranty for the duration in which they are being
monitored. Acadian will replace any product in a timely manner should you find your
equipment malfunctioning.
Purchase of Equipment
If you purchase equipment to own, you have a warranty for one year from the date of
shipment that protects defects in the equipment from workmanship. During this time,
Acadian will repair or replace all parts that are malfunctioning. The repaired equipment is then
given a warranty of 90 days, or the balance of the initial warranty period, whichever happens
to be greater.
Note that all batteries are excluded from the lifetime warranty and are only covered for 90
days.
Pendants are only covered for one year.
