TBIZ is a big hub of people and contents. Topics are freely chosen by the
community and companies, by the technical and scientific committee and key
note speakers, adopting a bottom - up approach: this means that there is not
an a priori plan.
The event has one strong and shared value:
“Innovation belongs to people, not to machines”
16. Two fundamental topics
Let’s talk about
The “Great South”
Southern Italy is going to dismiss the old - fashionable way of managing a business,
and it is going to build up a “new business” based on innovation. This is the main
topic of our event: in fact, we are going to talk about PMI, about market and
financial network, and about the Euro-Mediterranean area.
Culture of Innovation
Even if Southern Italy invests a large amount of money for the research and
development; it is far from the 3% dealt in Lisbon. For this reason, we are going to
talk about new products, services, processes and techniques that are able to
improve companies competitiveness.

criticality: resistance or change?
Southern Innovation
Taking stock of the situation, verifying available tools, taking note of efficient procedures.
Creating relationships between companies and people that are really interested in come along
this path.
Be Social! PMI e PAL opening to Social Network
Companies can use social network to introduce themselves in a new and informal way, through
Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Linkedin, Viadeo, H2biz. Buying associations and Social Network
dimension are gaining more and more importance in e-commerce.
19. Hot topics 2011
Let’s talk about
Company on the Cloud
Everybody talks about Cloud computing, but what does it really mean? Could it improve your
business?
Be Mobile, your business on tablet.
Mobile and Wireless Business is constantly growing up, but Does it exist a true advantage?
Which problems does it imply?
Smarter Town and digital citizens: Local Public Administration discovering Internet
By using new products and solutions, it is possible to make public administration more efficient
and, at the same time, to improve citizens participation to public life.
Benefits are: financial equilibrium of local administration & a modernization of the society.
Your reputation on line vs. authority for the privacy: can Internet become a judge?
Currently, it can be found everything about people’s life (even indecent details!) on Internet. But
actually, everybody should have the chance to borrow their past and make their reputation safe.
A proposal to solve the problem could be to enlarge the right to preserve your own privacy on
Internet. But in this way, it exists the possibility to restrict Internet freedom. And so which is
the best solution? Let’s talk about it!
