Duties, Accomplishments and Related Skills:
Set and remove both air and KPF switches. Build and remove both distribution triplex and 69 KVA
transmission line. Preform maintenance on multiple types of suspended as well as pad mounted
transformers. Preform nest removal and habitat facilitation for raptor population as dictated by
environmentalist on mine site. Disconnect electrical boxes used on de-watering wells. Overall
maintenance of multiple coal mine grids and systems. Safely operate skid steer loaders, 85 foot bucket
truck, Digger trucks and line trucks. Set and remove poles up to 110 feet in height. Build and preform
maintenance on mobile sub-station platforms which service drag lines and shovels. Preform general
upkeep and maintenance on lighting grid of coal mine, replace light ballasts, bulbs and whole units.
Maintain vehicles general upkeep to relevant Department of Transportation standards. Maintain highest
level of safety standards in accordance with MSHA and OSHA standards. Climb poles using fall arrest and
standard line gaffs, or hooks. Continuing on from my strict regiment of Air Force explosive safety
standards I now must uphold an more dynamic and strict set of safety standards working on a day to day
basis with unwavering adherence to not only OSHA standards of all types but also the more strict MSHA
standards.
