4. The Project Lab is an innovative
workshop about Project Management.

5. It's about how to transform
an idea into a cultural project.

6. It was created to support students
during the Master of Science TEC-CH

7. or in any other course at the
University of Lugano, Switzerland.

8. It's a brief introduction to the course
“Field Project” held by Mr Paolini

9. and also to the science known by
Project Management.

10. It's based on Project Management
Institute rules and principles.

11. Its goal is to stimulate students
to develop their own strategic thinking.

12. The workshop is innovative because uses
new concepts as eBooks and Mind Maps.

13. The Project Lab was designed in
12 hours of intensive and playful work:

14. half dedicated to the basic theory
and half to practice it.

15. The methodology adopted
encourages students learning.

16. The content of the Project Lab
is organized in 7 exclusive eBooks

17. which cover all the content
to follow the workshop.

18. “The rocket”: a brief introduction to

Project Management and its history.

19. “The project”: main concepts in Project
#2
Management as projects and operations.

20. #3 “The life cycle”: the PDCA cycle
(Plan, Do, Check and Act).

21. #4“The goal”: how to define goals,
outcomes, scope and stakeholders.

22. #5 “The project chart”: how to write
a basic document project chart.

23. #6 “The tools”: main softwares and tools
that fit to Project Management.

24. #7 “Idea Mapping”: how to convert
an idea into a map.

25. All eBooks are taylored and designed
according to the students profile,

26. as well all exercizes, activities,
examples and cases.

27. After the eBook readings, there are
playful activities to practice the concepts.

28. So, at the end of the work,
students present their mind maps

29. besides of their Project Chart
with the main definitions of

30. project's scope, goal, outcomes,
stakeholders and strategy.

31. Following this workshop, students
will improve their performance

32. during the course “Field Project”
and also during their own careers.

33. The workshop is held by Bia Simonassi,
a Project Management Expert,

34. (business) Writer and eTeacher educated
at the best Brazilian Universities and

35. with more than 12 years of
practical experience in project field.

36. Since 2002, she has been teaching
successfully Project Management

37. to different people in
many organizations and situations.

38. The Project Lab is a project by
Amalia Sãbiescu and Bia Simonassi.

39. The plan is to offer the Project Lab
during the Master of Science's program,
