THOUGHTS TO CONSIDER !!!
Warmth and kindness are the most precious commodities in the world. An act of kindness is
like oil that takes the friction out of life. It gives the other person the push they need to get
through difficult days. We are put in the earth to spread warmth and kindness to others.
When we do this, the same will come back to us.
Everyone needs to feel accepted. They need kindness rather than condemnation. They need
warmth rather than a cool and judgmental berating when they are going through hard times.
Eugene Kennedy is an American psychologist, syndicated columnist and former Catholic
priest. He understands the value of developing warm relationships filled with kindness.
"When someone prizes us just as we are, he or she confirms our existence."
Who do you know that merely needs someone to care enough to confirm their very exis-
tence? Who do you know that is in a difficult place? Who do you know that needs someone
to be like oil and help them get through a tight situation? Will you show warmth and kindness
to that person today? Now, watch that same kindness come back to you!
