1) Not as mature as he should be. He could be more modest.
2) Interpersonal competence—this is 70% of the issue (the other 30% is
just time/task management). Listen—be there when your team
needs you—connect with them.
3) There is not a real feeling of “team” under him. He’s very structured
and lives by logic and reason. There’s no emotion or empathy. He
doesn’t take relationships beyond the transactional level. His
“interest” in others seems artificial at times.
