The TAUS Quality Dashboard provides a platform for measuring and benchmarking translation quality and productivity across the industry. It allows translators, buyers, project managers, and reviewers to gain insight into translation quality. Projects are created, translation and review data is collected, and algorithms analyze the data to provide metrics on weighted errors and a harmonized error typology. The dashboard is designed to be transparent, support benchmarking, use open standards, and encourage participation from committed users to provide insight into the "black box" of the translation industry.

- The TAUS Quality Dashboard is offering a sneak peek into the black box. For the translator we are offering productivity and edit distance metrics and information on the errors made and the quality scores. For the PM of an MLV or SLV it gives info on the productivity and quality of their vendors. And for the buyer it gives a combination of the mentioned data. Add to this internal, external benchmarking and project-based reports that are created on the fly.
- How do we provide this sneak peek into the black box? By offering a tool called the quality Dashboard. The Dashboard offers an advanced, user-friendly and customizable reporting interface based on open source tools. Internal and external benchmarking to compare you project results to your own averages and to industry averages. The dashboard is based on standard metrics such as productivity, efficiency and error-typology. 24/7 support, regular users calls, webinars, tutorials and workshops. The roadmap and new features are driven by user needs which promotes participation. Transparency and accessibility to all levels of the translation supply chain from buyers through mlv-s & slv-s all the way to the individual translators and proofreaders.
