Expectations Every society should maintain their TAGthink society group and board group. Every society board member should have a profile and should join their society’s group and their respective (private) board group The TAGthink board site should be used as a resource for board members: board agendas, questions for the entire boardand other discussions can be posted here. At Events and Meetings, the Chair or Moderator should encourage people use the #TAGthinkhashtagwhen tweeting about the event in their opening comments.
Social Media Board Member It is suggested that society have a designated board member who is responsible for keeping TAGthink current. This board member will be made the administrator of the group page, and should be in charge of starting discussion topics, posting industry related articles, and post event materials (photos, power point presentations) to their group page within 48 hours of each event
TAG will: Display TAGthink flyers at the registration table for each. Use a slide promoting TAGthinkin the sponsor slides prior to each meeting. Post your society’s events on the TAGthink calendar.
Benefits Promotion for your society Once the society group page has a critical mass of content, an email will be sent to the affiliate group in the database inviting them to join the online group Keep the Conversation Going Keep your members involved during your society’s ‘off months’ by posting recaps and updates.  Gain Sponsors - TAGthink will provide "sponsor this society/event" links on the group's webpage starting in the 3rd quarter (Atlanta Telecom Professionals raised $20,000 with this simple mechanism on their website)
