7. Why do postgraduate study?
My motivation for pursuing a postgraduate degree was to enhance my
employability, and my Master’s definitely gave me an edge over other
applicants. I studied Maths at undergraduate level and my MSc helped to
make my subject knowledge more relevant in a
business context.
I am now an underwriter on a graduate scheme at
Zurich Financial Services. My starting salary was well
above the national average and my future with this
organization looks very exciting.
