Male domestic violence has been around forever in history. However it has only been highlighted
recently in history. This could be because it was seen as males were the boss of the house for
example sayings like “Man of the house”. Male domestic violence awareness week is on the first
week of March.
3. Organisations
Men’s advice line is my first organization. They are a company which help men who are suffering
from domestic violence. On their website they say they are a confidential helpline for any man
experiencing domestic violence or abuse.
Man Kind Initiative is a website that helps men escape from domestic abuse. They have a
confidential help line which helps men in the UK with domestic abuse.

the Labour party promise to publish a “violence against Women and Girls Bill”. Also strengthen the law and introduce compulsory
age-appropriate sex and relationships education. I found this article useful because it was quite relevant as it was published this
year and it had good information and facts about domestic violence.

This documentary is about a case of male domestic violence. The man they were interviewing in this articles is
called Ken Gregory he was 65 years old and suffered first and second degree burns to 14 per cent of his
body after his ex-wife tipped a kettle of boiling water over his head and back.
