5. PRODUCTION
• Production started in 1986 with only two biscuit lines and annual
capacity of 12,000 tons
• Driven by market demand for Deemah products, major expansions
started in 1994 which paved the way for the production of Wafers
• In 2003, a second factory dedicated in producing confectionery
products was established
• In 2008, Snack Factory was created and a Instant Beverages Factory
was established in the year 2009
• At present, on a 300 days annual production capacity for Biscuits is
60,480 tons; 2,025 tons for Wafers; 6,600 tons for Hard Candies;
6,900 tons for Un-filled Chewy Toffees; 3,180 tons for Filled Chewy
toffees; and 9,900 tons for Lollipops, 3,600 tons Potato Chips, 2,250
tons Tortilla Chips, 3,300 Crunchy Fingers, 8,400 tons Instant
Powdered Juices & Coffees and 1,260 tons Tea Bags & Loose Tea
