My presentation covering details on the iPad and my ideas for my app ;)

2. Interaction Layer: Pick up, unlock, Browse web, read
books, use Apps, Listen to Music, go to the iTunes
store, type notes, put on or off.
Interface layer: Full touch screen, lock button, on/off
buttons, volume button, case, speakers, Home button.

3. Visual layer: Slim lined Shape, colour, material, style,
Size, texture.
Motivation Layer: Play a game, find a location using
maps, read a book, chat to a friend via web, watch a
video, look at photos, do a drawing.

5. As the iPad is so slim and portable it can be taken with
you anywhere and this means it can be used in public
almost anywhere and it’s easy to connect to the web in a
WiFi zone.

7. So far I haven’t been able to find an
App that allows the user to actually
Make their own tea to their own
Personal taste. Although I have found
Apps that actually allow the user to
Choose what type of tea they want
And a few other options. These do
Not allow the user to make their own
Tea.

Perhaps my App could be virtual and allow the user to pour
the kettle by tilting the iPad, put in the tea bag, pour the
milk in, put in the sugar etc…

13. As I was researching the iPad and
It’s functionality I found this idea
Of a docking station for arcade
Games on the iPad.
I thought that maybe the same
Theory could be adapted to my
App. Perhaps the tea machine
Could have a docking station
And could be totally controlled
By the iPad. The App would
Have all the information needed
To allow the machine to make the
Tea.

19. The iPad seems to be an item for
Leisure and is more a luxury than
a necessity. Although it can be
Used for such a wide variety of
Media. One of which being the
App world which is growing by
Thousands every week. My
target is to design an App that
will interest the iPad user.
