Carpenter: Even if a woodchuck could chuck wood and even if a woodchuck would chuck wood, should a woodchuck chuck wood? Guybrush: A woodchuck should chuck wood if a woodchuck could chuck wood, as long as a woodchuck would chuck wood. Carpenter: Oh shut up.

Hi! My name is Sonny and I will present you a company I like which is named LucasArts. Let’s first have some information about this company.
LucasArts was founded in May 1982 by George Lucas. George Lucas wanted to entertain people in another way than movies, so he thought about Atari which were making video games. Since then, Lucasfilm Games was born. Its name was changed to LucasArts in 1990. So LucasArts is a video game developer company. Most of the games are based on Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Currently, the chairman is George Lucas and the president is Darrell Rodriguez.
As I said before, LucasArts was first named Lucasfilm Games. Then, in 1990, Lucasfilm Games became LucasArts. Now maybe you would ask yourself, what does that logo mean? Well, in fact, in that logo, you have to see two things: the L in purple and the man in gold. The purple L is just the first letter of Lucas. The « Gold Guy », him, has a more complicated story: the Gold Guy has the sun rising behind him but this sun looks also like an eye… All this seems to be a reference to the ending a old film of George Lucas, THX 1138, where the hero raised his arms during sunset. As you can see, the last logo just keep the « Gold Guy » but this time, the rendering is looking like an eye.
