2. What does one look for, in a song?
⢠Much the same as what one seeks in most any
art or entertainment media
⢠We are drawn to these because we are driven
by the instinct to search for imprints
⢠We look for reflections of what we are, or
what we desire to be
⢠We want to know ourselves: self-fulfillment
3. What we are and what we desire to be
⢠Now, identifying this is not a trivial matter
⢠Probably Heideggerâs Sein und Zeit comes
close
⢠More often, we achieve equivalent fulfillment
by means of songs, or games, or art on canvas,
or literature, or theater, und so Weiter
4. A step towards this goal
⢠The goal â to know thyself
⢠We blend two of these streams â songs and games.
Through this blend we reach towards a game plan (like
a template, from which instances of games are born),
which will serve the purposes of self-fulfillment (think
Advaita Siddhi, or Aufklarung, or Nirvana etc., for
context)
⢠This is achieved via a framework of game steps which
would be a mix of philosophical inquiry and
psychoanalysis, correlated with songs that resonate
with the specific states of the playerâs mind in that
given instance of the game
5. Elevator Summary
⢠This set of slide shares (of which this particular one is the start) is some mathematical +
industrial ideas thrown together, that give shape and structure to this goal
⢠To recap â the goal is to provide a value-added-service (for players who are also listeners who
appreciate the sound of the band) and share insights into the playersâ identity and destiny â
to draft a horoscope a la Hilbert, so to speak (or h.a.l.H for short) - spectral decompositions
of self-adjoint operators on the playerâs personalized space, and a resolution of the identity
⢠By means of capturing results of every instance where the game is played, we obtain a data
set, the playerâs personalized subset of the Complex Number System, which gets modeled as
a Hilbert Space
⢠Analytical crunching is intended via MikTex whereby pdf versions of the h.a.l.H are produced
â and further to that, the data set can also be numerically and statistically processed as and
when required. Recipes abound already (check out www.nr.com ), and more libraries can be
built as we go
⢠The band acts in the equivalent capacity of an Oracle
⢠For each played value outcome of the game â certain songs will be defined to be in
correlation with that outcome, mood/theme wise. And along with the h.a.l.H, the player will
get some custom rendering based on defined rule sets (maybe a download of a special take
of the given song, or some kind of a virtual âbackstageâ experience that ties to the making of
that song, etc.)
⢠The playerâs session also feeds back to, and updates the meta-data and rule set of the song /
merchandise repository of the band, so that the band also dynamically grows, along with the
players/listeners
⢠This whole thing can take quite some time and effort and cost â here, it is assumed and
expected basically that eventually this blend will evolve into a viable business entity, a going
concern, and meanwhile we share whiteboard level seed ideas and concepts
⢠This set of presentations is thus a step towards crowd-sourcing this idea
