NodeJS is a cross-platform open-source framework. It is used for developing real-time and scalable network applications based on JavaScript. It was released in 2009. Since 2012, many companies have utilized node development to create a variety of helpful apps. NodeJS employs a single-threaded paradigm with event looping. It is capable of server-side programming, which is essential in the current circumstance. Its event-driven features and open-source functionality are the reasons why developers choose NodeJS.

Micro Frontends “Extending the microservice idea to frontend development”. What does it really mean? Is it just abusing a certain hype? Should I consider it? How should I approach it? These are just some of the questions one might ask when presented with this notion. Long story short – Micro front-ends are a reality! However, it is not for everyone. In this session, we’re going to demystify micro frontends. We’re going to establish what it is, when it should be considered and the decisions to be made

Good frontend development is hard. Scaling frontend development is even harder because you need to ensure that multiple teams can work on a big and complex project simultaneously and without any blockers. Today you often hear about micro frontends which are one of the more controversial Web topics. What are they? Are they worth all the fuzz? Should you implement them? As someone who worked at integrating this in Infobip’s Web Interface, I want to use our example to show you our way of thinking: how did we know that we have problems, how did we decide to approach the implementation of micro frontend architecture and why did we decide to go with it, and which problems we ran into. We will also look at alternate available possibilities useful for anyone.

Talk at Ecole des Mines de Nantes: In this talk I will tell you my story of developing a successful Model Driven Software Factory with a fast growing user base. I will cover topics like selecting a domain, designing DSLs, growing a DSL (evolution), generating the application, quality and testing, release planning, and creating a user base. I will also tell you how I came to the conclusion that there is no future for Model-Driven Development.

This course provides a detailed introduction to the Object Oriented techniques identified by Robert Martin as the SOLID principles of software design. Intended for both novice and intermediary developers, each of the five principles are fully defined and explored. Real-world coding examples are provided for each software tenant to help fully expound upon the design techniques. By the end of the session, developers will be able to identify common code smells while applying SOLID programming practices that ensure clean and maintainable code.

Microservices architecture is garnering attention as a modern pattern for building application that scale well, deploy often, have better fault tolerance and can be built out of multiple technologies. We will go through the advantages and drawbacks of going Microservices way and when the pattern is a good fit. We will also touch on Docker, yet another buzzword, strongly emerging as a Microservices delivery mechanism for Linux based systems. If you are looking to refactor your monolithic application, to build a new cloud native application or simply to get your geek on this session is for you.

In the ever-evolving tech ecosystem, the demand for specialized roles such as a React Developer with Expertise in Micro-Frontends and Modular Architecture is on a steep rise. The quest to build scalable applications with robust functionality and seamless user experience has given rise to the adoption of these technologies and methodologies. The importance of React, a popular JavaScript library for building user interfaces, is undeniable. Furthermore, the introduction of concepts like micro-frontends and modular architecture has brought a paradigm shift in how we design and develop web applications. Micro-frontends and modular architecture have ushered in an era of complexity, but also of greater control and efficiency. They enable developers to break down applications into smaller, manageable modules, enhancing maintainability and scalability. Hence, to leverage these advantages, companies are in constant pursuit to hire React developers who possess a deep understanding of these concepts. Understanding React, Micro-Frontends, and Modular Architecture Before we delve into the specifics of hiring, it’s crucial to develop a firm understanding of React, micro-frontends, and modular architecture. How to Build a Micro Frontend with React? React, with its component-based model, offers a strong foundation for building microfrontends. As outlined in the “Microfrontends with React – A Complete Developer’s Guide,” the following steps will help you successfully build a micro frontend using React. Steps to Build a Micro Frontend with React Building a Microfrontend with React involves a series of structured steps: Create a new React application: Start by creating a new React application. This will serve as the base for your microfrontend. Develop Components: Develop independent React components that represent different functionalities of your microfrontend. Compose Components: Combine these components together to form the complete microfrontend. Ensure that each component can function independently. Expose Public API: Create a well-defined public API to allow interaction between different microfrontends. Test: Test your microfrontend to ensure its functionalities work as expected. Use unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests for comprehensive coverage. Deploy: Once testing is complete, deploy your microfrontend. It should be independently deployable to promote continuous delivery. Microfrontends React is an approach that brings scalability, flexibility, and robustness to your web applications. Mastering the art of building microfrontends with React is a crucial skill for modern web developers. Following the steps outlined in the “Microfrontends with React – A Complete Developer’s Guide” can pave the way to success in this domain. Software has several characteristics that distinguish it from other goods. These include, that it is not subject to any laws of nature, is easy to change, theoretically infinitely replicable and largely invisible. This culminates in a special kind of complexity that makes it difficult even for experienced software developers and architects to lead their projects to success. In this talk, we will therefore look deeper into the effects that the described characteristics have and how they affect any software system, be it the small mobile app or the enterprise cloud cluster.

Once upon a time, choosing a framework for your Flash or Flex project was easy. You either used Cairngorm or you didn't. Then along came PureMVC, followed by Mate, Parsley, Robotlegs, Swiz, Sping Actionscript and many more. Getting to know all these frameworks takes a long time. Making a choice of which to use may take even longer. In this session Richard will use his experience developing with and recommending frameworks to help you make that choice. Richard will talk about the features that you need to consider when choosing a framework, he'll discuss the key differences between the various frameworks available, and he'll tell you how to know when you've made the right choice. And, he will try to answer the question of which framework is best.

Traditionally, while creating our system, you don't focus on creating our components separated from each other. As a result, one problem can lead you to the domino effect - the whole system stops working. How to counteract it? "Loosely coupled architecture" is recognized as the main factor to create a highly-scalable system. It allows you to make changes in your application which won't effect on their other part. See yourself what are the criteria of this architecture to be able to introduce it to your solution from the very beginning.

Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/why-teams-call-analytics-is-critical-to-your-entire-business Nothing is as frustrating and noticeable as being in an important call and being unable to see or hear the other person. Not surprising then, that issues with Teams calls are among the most common problems users call their helpdesk for. Having in depth insight into everything relevant going on at the user’s device, local network, ISP and Microsoft itself during the call is crucial for good Microsoft Teams Call quality support. To ensure a quick and adequate solution and to ensure your users get the most out of their Microsoft 365. But did you know that ‘bad calls’ are also an excellent indicator of other problems arising? Precisely because it is so noticeable!? Like the canary in the mine, bad calls can be early indicators of problems. Problems that might otherwise not have been noticed for a while but can have a big impact on productivity and satisfaction. Join this session by Christoph Adler to learn how true Microsoft Teams call quality analytics helped other organizations troubleshoot bad calls and identify and fix problems that impacted Teams calls or the use of Microsoft365 in general. See what it can do to keep your users happy and productive! In this session we will cover - Why CQD data alone is not enough to troubleshoot call problems - The importance of attributing call problems to the right call participant - What call quality analytics can do to help you quickly find, fix-, and prevent problems - Why having retrospective detailed insights matters - Real life examples of how others have used Microsoft Teams call quality monitoring to problem shoot problems with their ISP, network, device health and more.

In the thrilling conclusion to 2023, ransomware groups had a banner year, really outdoing themselves in the "make everyone's life miserable" department. LockBit 3.0 took gold in the hacking olympics, followed by the plucky upstarts Clop and ALPHV/BlackCat. Apparently, 48% of organizations were feeling left out and decided to get in on the cyber attack action. Business services won the "most likely to get digitally mugged" award, with education and retail nipping at their heels. Hackers expanded their repertoire beyond boring old encryption to the much more exciting world of extortion. The US, UK and Canada took top honors in the "countries most likely to pay up" category. Bitcoins were the currency of choice for discerning hackers, because who doesn't love untraceable money?
