To name a few of the reason Facebook is worth it, Starts with telling employers whether their candidate is worth hiring or not. It is a good practise to check the candidate’s profile before inviting them for an interview, as this will give an idea about any red flags or how employable they are.
Facebook is also an excellent site for broadcasting about your new products. Its basic application is networking thus helping the corporations build a strong network of customers. This can be done by building communities, in which they can promote their culture their values etc. Thus increasing their credibility.

In my personal opinion I usually use Facebook to connect with my family and friends, but I also use Facebook to check the latest news and latest offers from brands. It is no hidden fact that Facebook knows so much about its user and thus will help the B2C companies to target their ads on the basis of a specific audience interest and as per Local demographics.
