ITB has come and gone and hotel data and analytics
has evolved quite a lot, so we’re giving you a summary
of what we found most interesting last month (so make
sure you check out the whole Slideshare).
This month we cover the nerds at Airbnb, tips on
getting better at Excel (yeah, never thought that would
be coming from us, did you?) and more great “big data
101” this time from Bernard Marr. There’s also an
excellent eBook taking data and analytics from the labs
and back to hotel reality. And of course a TED talk to
bring you back to the lab.
With so much happening in our industry and so little
time, we hope this monthly recap helps keep you up-to-
date. We hope you enjoy the read!

them better understand the huge amounts of data they have access to. These solutions are often a representation of that

ITB has come and gone and hotel data and analytics has evolved quite a lot, so we’re giving you a summary of what we found most interesting last month (so make sure you check out the whole Slideshare). This month we cover the nerds at Airbnb, tips on getting better at Excel (yeah, never thought that would be coming from us, did you?) and more great “big data 101” this time from Bernard Marr. There’s also an excellent eBook taking data and analytics from the labs and back to hotel reality. And of course a TED talk to bring you back to the lab.
