Uni.) thesis. The backgrounds of my thesis are two key drivers: The nationwide implementation of the biological waste bin in 2015 and the product acceptance enhancement (product management) of compostable bioplastic bags, as optimization instrument of the biological waste collection. Based on my research and data analysis I developed measures to optimize the product “compostable bioplastic bags”, regarding the design and material composition to improve the product performance throughout the product life cycle stages. I also designed an info flyer about the products, especially for the county governments and environmental agencies, because of the lack of knowledge about compostable bioplastic products. Furthermore I described the regional synergies between the biological recycling industry, renewable energies and the contribution to the regional geoecology and climate protection through biological recycling products.
