PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a loyal, reliable, flexible and adaptable senior manager with a broad range of management
experience with extensive knowledge of the vocational learning sector and a range of skills covering most
aspects of staff, resource and financial management. Calm under pressure but able to make key
decisions when required. I have a strong interest in promoting the work-based or vocational route for
young people as a viable alternative to university. I also have an interest in the technical side of things
but am not an expert.

• Managed the delivery of £3million annual Government funded Apprenticeships, Workplace
Learning and Study Programme (including Traineeships) contracts with 1400 learners on
programme with performance above National rates for last 3 years.

schools and careers events to promote Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

• Acted as Nominee for 3 Ofsted/ALI inspections with last outcome a strong Grade 2 (2013)

equipment.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
I have been a Parish Councillor since 2003 and Chairman of Holbrook Parish Council since 2007 and took
over as the Poppy Appeal Organiser for Holbrook in 2014. I am a lifelong supporter of Ipswich Town FC
and am a season ticket holder and aim to attend all home games. I also like to do a bit of photography
when I can.
