2. Changes Tell us about your background and the changes you’ve seen in the past few years? Kazda:I’ve been in the automotive business since 1984, with Saturn of St. Paul since 1992 and now the Reconditioning Used Car Manager for Saint Paul Autos serving three dealerships in the Twin Cities area. We keep an active inventory of about 150 vehicles and turn the lots at least every 30 days. In the past, I’d had to personally travel to auctions, mainly in Michigan and Ohio. Now, using the internet and working with ShipCarsNow, I can easily and affordably purchase the inventory we need from auctions as far away as California, Nevada, Florida and Texas.

In the past we were somewhat reluctant to buy anything out of California. Even when we paid a truck driver a premium we were usually lucky to see a vehicle in four to six weeks.
