I’d like to express my great interest in the proposed “Senior Instrumentation and
Control System Engineer” job vacancy.
I’m confident to have the relevant knowledge and practical experience. I’ve 15 years of
diversified experience in the instrumentation and control systems in all phases (feed,
detailed engineering, pre commissioning & commissioning, start- up, maintenance and
operations). I’ve been exposed to onshore plants and off-shore platforms having
participated in many major projects in Egypt, Qatar, Norway, Yemen, Dubai and, Saudi
Arabia.
I also have extensive experience working with all types of instruments, transmitters,
control valves, safety relief valves, control systems, fire and gas systems, safety
systems, metering packages, utility packages and analyzers.
I’m holding a Bachelor degree in Electronic Communication Engineering from Faculty of
Engineering, Menofia University, Egypt with honor degree.
Currently, I’m holding the position of Lead instrumentation methods engineer
with one of the major Exploration and production international companies
TOTAL, Qatar.
Previously, I was holding the position of Senior instrument Engineer with one of
the major EPIC international companies McDermott, Saudi Arabia.
From June, 2012, I’ve been assigned to Draugen offshore Platform upgrades 2013
Campaign Project, Shell, Norway.
Previously, I was a member of CB&I Lummus “The most complete energy
infrastructure focused company in the world”, USA where I was holding the
position of Senior Instrument and System Engineer. Having working with CB&I, I
was assigned to four of the most demanding projects including, SOUTH
CAUCASUS PIPELINE (SCBX /BP ), Cartagena Refinery Expansion project (Reficar),
SEGAS (Spanish Egyptian LNG) and, Nagarjuna, Cuddalore Refinery, Tamil Nadu,
India.
I’ve started me career with Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company [GUPCO] / British
Petroleum share.
