• Indian Navy (1984 – 1999) – Served 15 years – Worked in Deck Department, where dealt with Ships Navigation, Planning,
Training, PT/Parade, Handling of Arms/Ammunitions & imparting safe Firing Training/Practice, Nuclear Biological
Warfare/Advance Fire Fighting & Damage Control, Departmental Administration, Documentation, Accountability, Keeping the
proper Records, Ship maintenance, Planned Maintenance Schedule, Management of Men & Materials, Staff Work at Several
Level and Liasoning and taking Care of Regulations, Quality & Safety.
• Marine Training Academies/Institutes (2000 – 2015) – Total 15 years served as Marine Training Instructor as below,
• BP Marine Academy, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai - (2000 To 2007) – 7 years served as Marine Training Instructor -
Training to Deck & Engine Cadets, Pre Sea Training to Deck, Engine & Saloon Ratings – General Discipline,
PT/Parade/Swimming, STCW-95, Seamanship, Navigation, Anchor Work, Rope Work & Rigging, Cargo Handling, ISM Code,
Basic Fire Fighting, Ship Maintenance and warden duties.
• Training Ship Chanakya, Govt. of India, Indian Maritime University, Seawoods Darave, Navi Mumbai (2007 To 2011) - 4
years served as Marine Training Instructor - Training to BSc Nautical Science & Diploma in Nautical Science to Deck Cadets –
General Discipline, Parade, STCW-95, PSCRB, Seamanship, Anchor Work, Rope Work/Rigging, Launching of Lifeboat and
Rescue Boat, Maneouring of Lifeboat/Rescue Boat, Boat rowing/practicing and warden duties.
2. • Sea Wisdom Ship Management RPSL No-226, Seawoods Darave, Navi Mumbai 1 year and 4 months (2011 To 2012) –
about 1 and ½ year served as Crew Training Manager – conducting interviews of crew, imparting lectures/classes on STCW,
ISM Code, ISPS, MARPOL and assist to HR Department.
• Ethiopian Maritime Training Institute (EMTI), Bahir Dar, Africa (2013 – 2014) – served for 1 year and 6 months - as Deck
Instructor - training to ETOs & MEs – STCW-2010, PSCRB, AFF, ISM Code, MARPOL, conducting Demonstrations/Practices of
Fire Fighting, Launching/Starting/Maneuvering of life boat & rescue boat, Safe jumping in water with life jacket from 5.5
meter height, making their training schedule, Time table lesson plan, Question papers, Assessments, etc.
Time to time updating knowledge as per IMOs new guide lines /orders, well verse with Marine Industry and their rules
regulations.
Ability to plan complete training schedule as per the company’s and managements guide line, requirement and making sure
it’s going on as per it, maintaining its proper records of each course and Auditing.
