RESCUE GENERAL INFORMATION Askari Aviation gives detailed briefing to all the teams on arrival on rescue services and issue a kit, holding minimum essential equipment for guidance and reception of helicopter in emergency. It also collect essential information on respective expedition. Pakistan Army Aviation resources are, located accordingly covering the complete area of mountaineering team activities.

Importance of Body Signals and Ground Air Emergency Code All possible efforts must be made by respective expedition to prepare helicopter landing sites wherever possible as per specification provided, and assist in terminal guidance on arrival of helicopter, details of hand signals and ground-air emergency code are given in the ground codes section. To make it easier for the pilot to locate you it is important that emergency signals are used when in distress.
