Masthead
My masthead is called RAW, it is a short and snappy name for my
Magazine. It’s a suitable name for the genre of the magazine which is rap and hip-hop, by
having this genre I opens up a rage of the target audiences. The masthead uses different
codes and conventions, the colour of the masthead is white on a red this makes the masthead
pop and creates a eye catching title because the white contrasts with the red. This makes it
easier for people to read and notice it.
The font of the masthead is quite bold and loud and connects to the meaning RAW which
means aggressive but cool and fresh, these are the sort of aspects which I believe is suitable
for a rap and hip-hop magazine.
