ILINX Integrate Studio is a visual design tool used to build, edit and test the projects that integrate desktop software applications. With Studio you can: Save time by building integration solutions Quickly control the flow of data between the software applications Identify host screens and fields with a simple button click Easily map fields from one task to another Test your project from within the Studio environment Integrate applications without coding
ILINX Integrate provides an effective tool that lets you to define the window class and window caption information for application screens. This window information must be defined for each application that you configure hot keys for.Click and hold the finder icon in the Window Finder dialog, then drag it to the Application window until theentirewindow is outlined. The disc shape in the center of the icon moves with your cursor.
Once you have defined the application, the field’s need to be defined.Select the targeting tool and select the field you want to map to. The information about the field will automatically be filled in.
Generally, ILINX Integrate’s task components provide quick and efficient methods of automating routine procedures, without having to write code. In some cases where the procedures are more complex and the requirements vary, coding might be the only solution. To accommodate this need, ILINX Integrate has a Script Task, which accepts VB scripting code.
Event components are used to notify the system that something has occurred. Add an event component to the task you want to perform when the event takes place. Each event has a filter that permits you to add additional parameters to determine when the event is enabled.
Screen shot of completed project. The mapping is from an Access database to an Oracle IPM Search.
The tool bar will only appear when the screen that has been mapped in the project has focus.
In this project the data is being sent from Access to and Oracle Saved Search.
The only file needed to deploy the project is the .kap file. The file can be placed in to a shared folder on a network or emailed to each user.
Projects: On this tab you can view a list of all the projects currently running, load up new projects, and unload existing ones. Logging pane:On this tab valuable log information is presented for all projects that are running on the Client. For example, if an error occurs a log message is added to the Logging pane. Click the Show Log button to display the Logging pane.
Startup:On this tab you can specify automatic startup options projects that you want to load when the ILINX Integrate Client is started and if the ILINX Integrate Client should open each time the user logs in.
