They will often advance the overall understanding of that subject through focused analysis, design and/or development. They use research skills to define problems and to identify alternatives. Healthcare settings work with community leaders, health and social-service agencies, families and social, and health needs and their role is to provide education about lifestyle and behavior choices that can help prevent illness and foster good health. The path of creating a nursing practice culture of integrated knowledge management gives us information thinking about clinical care delivery and an expansion of the ways of knowing in nursing.
