Well, even if you don’t. In any business you need to find a way to generate a continuous
stream of prospects. Empower Sales Letter may be stressing a Blog Writing as a best way to
get there, but… I believe in personal way of doing things. You might generate a hundreds of
visitors to your blog every day, but if you can’t connect with them, and they don’t feel the
need to use your services, then you are loosing money, spending time on the activities, that
doesn’t generate an income, therefore, you losing an income by not getting it!

3. If you read the Permission Marketing (and If you don’t you are definitely should), you know,
that a regular advertising doesn’t work anymore (called interruption marketing). People
get distracted so much with all the ads around them, that eventually we are just stop seen
them. And here is a good thing – if you are smart enough to understand, that the old way of
advertising is dead, then you make lot more money, and will be satisfied much more with your

So, I would like to outline several methods, that you can use, to start generating YOUR
Leads, and turn them into customers.
Here is 4 of them, that I ether use, or heard as a most effective:

5. 1. Craigslist. You can’t go wrong with one of the most visited websites in the world. All you
need to do is to offer the right thing. And since we are offering knowledge and training about
making money – we need to go to the section, where people wants to make money – “jobs”,
“gigs”, and “resumes”.
Simplest way would be – is just to go through the resume section, and mail your offer to
everyone. Just don’t go bold, and ask them to sign, find out first if they are open to get some
extra income online… Otherwise, you will get much worse response. (Yes, this is partly an
interruption marketing, but, since they posted a resume, they indicated their desire to make
more money).
Craigslist Ads – “How To” Lead Generation Guide.
A bit more complicated way, but usually more responsive, is to post an ad.
Here you need to offer something, that will make prospects interested in what you are
offering. Like the possibility to create their own business, make more money, work from home,
etc. Just don’t go cheesy, and promise everything. This will bring you more headache, than
sales. Small ad offering the opportunity to get into the fastest growing market, will work.
Nowadays, with Craigslist gettting harsh with its policy, so you need to be creative. You can
use your own account to post a couple of ads here and there, but once you start getting
ghosted, it means that its time to get PVA accounts, or outsource your advertising to Odesk
or Fiverr.

6. or Fiverr.
I recommend to buy couple of guides on using craigslist the right way, learn them, and only
after that order your ads – this way you can make sure, that your money will be spent wisely
(on the same Fiverr you can easily find people offering such a guides, even if you spend 10$,
you will definitely save more on a freelancer time later, if you will know what exactly they need
to do), actually I will recommend to invest in this guides, BEFORE you start posting your own
ads, this way you wouldn’t spend money on freelancers at all for a longer time, so it will
definitely will save you the money on the long run.

Email Marketing - How to Lead Generation
Good old Email marketing will be around, until people will check their emails, and this means
that it will be here for long There is no “best way” to get leads, but there is several
websites, that you can use for Ad swaps (if you already have a list), or for Solo Ads (if don’t).
Here is just a most popular:
The one, that gives you best results, is WarriorForum. Search for Solo Ads topics, and you
will find plenty of offers, that you can buy to get yourself a decent amount of leads (and
emails). If you still don’t have an Aweber - you should get it (I’ve explained in my Getting
Started with Empower Network) guide, why.
Next one – just search google for Solo Ads, and you can find a plenty of different websites,
that you can use to blast your email, and get more subscribers.

7. Another 2 websites (which I personally don’t have much of a results with, but they are dirt
cheap, or free, so you might want to give it a try).
ListJoe and Topsurfer
These are what I called “Email Exchange networks”, if you don’t purchase a paid subscription,
you have to go through all the emails to earn credits. Some of the people claiming, that they
have success with it, so, you might want to at least try it out (they give you some free credits
to start with).

8. You have to be careful with this one, since it is pretty easy to spend $1000, without even
knowing that, and end up with just a little profit. You need to thoroughly test every campaign
you create, find the best converting pages, and get a best offer you can do. But, you still
might want to give it a try, since this way you can instantly get traffic to your blog (or optin
pages), and some quick sales. (This way, if you new in IM, you don’t get discouraged and will
continue to get better in it).

9. Twitter, YouTube, Facebook – these are the best places to get prospects. But you need to
know, how to use them right. For example for Facebook – best way would be not to post optin
links on your personal page, since you get a lots of your friends pissed off. But use a
separate page for that (or group), where you not only can post as much content as you want,
but also, you will reach more people, who might be interested in what you offer.
(Please, remind me to make a separate posts about all 3 of them, since I have a lots of
interesting content and ideas to write about).
YouTube is one of the very interesting websites to get traffic. Especially if you are breeding
cats. But if not, don’t get discouraged, plastic surgeons will flourish there as well.
If you are not into breast augmentation, then… you still can get traffic, but it will be a little bit
harder. Post interesting content every day, buy a TubeToolBox, get as many subscribers as
you can, promote, backlink, and so on. You can read more information on this blog.
Well, here is we get back to the hardest ways to get your leads. ( I guess I got a little bit
sidetracked).

So, to cut it short…
1. Craigslist (usually you get a response within a minutes after posting).
2. Solo Ads (This one is a bit slower – you need to find a provider, write a good copy, format
it properly, so probably 2-3 hours at best, up to a day).
3. CPA – Almost the same as Craigslist, but for the most of them you need to get approved,
so it might take up to a day.
4. Social Networks, Blogging, Link creation – mostly long term strategy. (If you are not using
Ads).

I like to overdeliver, so here is an extra way to get leads, especially for Empower Network:
