OVERVIEW
There are many different types of cases available for the Raspberry Pi so
what is different about Pi Casing?
Many of the Raspberry Pi cases are designed just to take the Raspberry
Pi. They are aimed at software only projects and will not accommodate
GPIO add-on boards such as the Pi Face from Farnell, the Slice of Pi
from Ciseco, the Prototyping Pi Plate from Adafruit or the Custard Pi
range from SF Innovations. Some will not even allow a 26 way ribbon
cable to be connected.
The Pi Casing will enclose the Raspberry Pi with any one of the above
boards plugged in. It will also allow prototyping boards to sit alongside the
Pi for custom hardware.

The mounting method for the two models are different.

These have only two holes for mounting.

has 4 mounting holes.

STEP 2A – ATTACH THE 4 PILLARS FOR THE PI
(MODEL A & B)
The four threaded pillars are
held in place by the 4 bolts.
Two of the pillars go through
holes in the Raspberry Pi and
The other 2 are for support.
Clip the threaded pillar off
the 2 supports.

STEP 3A – FIX THE RASPBERRY PI
MODELS A & B
Insert the Raspberry Pi onto the two fixing pillars and use the
nylon nuts to fix it in place, using a pair of pliers if necessary.

Attach the four threaded pillars

Fix the Raspberry Pi Model B+ onto the base using the 4 bolts supplied.
Use the nylon nuts to fix it in place, using a pair of pliers if necessary.
