2. TEENAGERS
Teenagers are presented in our thriller in many different ways:
In our thriller I am portrayed as a curious teenager as I wander into
the abandoned factory. It also shows that teenagers are very
curious and want to do exciting things. I believe this was
portrayed clearly. My choice of clothing I believe did portray a
teenager as all teenagers want to dress individually and be
different to show they do not want to fit in. The fact that I had
my hood up portrays the typical stereotype that teenagers just
want to cause trouble , although it could also give a more
mysterious portrayal. The fact that I have my skateboard in the
film shows how all teenagers want to have an escape from
regular life . I also believe this exaggerates the stress that
teenagers can be under from school and exams and
expectations of them.

3. CLASS
In our thriller Sam is an adult whereas I am a teenager. This shows that I
am intimidated by him as I am younger and scared of him. I run away
from him in our thriller as not only is he intimidating because he is older
he is intimidating due to the dark clothes he is wearing. This adds an
element of mystery as we do not know his identity. Later on it is made
clear that I am intimidated but also shows an aspect of middle class as
we are both dressed quite casually , something that may suggest a
rougher background is the fact that Sam uses violence. It also
suggests a lower class in our film as we are clearly in quite rundown
area with a theme of industry , which suggest factory workers not being
paid a lot for their work. Also high class people would not normally
choose to go and explore an abandoned warehouse.

4. ETHNICITY
There is no ethnic minorities in our thriller as we chose not to represent
them , looking back now it may have been a good idea to include an
aspect of ethnic minorities as it would create a larger target audience
and therefore more viewers for our thriller.
