Cheaper technology for charities
Technology companies such as Microsoft, Symantec and more donate their products to New Zealand not-for-profits.
This way not-for-profits can spend their money on service delivery instead of IT equipment.
Each donor partner offers a generous amount of software per organisation and in some cases we can assist with any extra you may need.
TechSoup New Zealand does not receive funding for this program. We keep it sustainable by charging a small administration fee on each order, which is generally equal to about 4-8% of retail price.
Track conversions from your ads – number of people who make a donation as a result
Use this data to optimise your website and ad copy to fix issues which may be blocking donations
Ads only appear on Google search results
Can only run text ads
EXPERIMENT!
Similar to being a YouTube partner, but with specific functions for charities, and extra promotion.
Set visible URL and actual URL separately – so you can write your website on the page, but link to a specific landing page
Can be used to drive donations
Guidelines on how to maximise your benefits through YouTube for Nonprofits, a wealth of knowledge for charities getting started on YouTube.
Storytelling
Of course there is a free version, and Google Maps, but Google Earth Pro allows you to turn your maps into movies
If you are registered with TechSoup New Zealand, you will just need your charities commission number to complete your registration.
If you are not yet registered, please make sure you register prior to attempting to register with Google for Nonprofits
