at level crossing with 25% over a period of 4 years
o Searching for new solutions and technology which
help them achieving the goal, with huge reduction in
costs and timeframe
o Quote from CP5 strategy on Level Crossing:
● In CP5 we plan to reduce significantly the risk from the public
misuse at level crossings by upgrading the protection at high risk
locations, extending the programme of work started in CP4. The
prioritisation of the type and timing of enhancements is informed
by a whole life cost model specifically developed to support cost
benefit appraisals for level crossings.

NR addressing the problem and having programs o Established a program with the goal of reducing risk at level crossing with 25% over a period of 4 years o Searching for new solutions and technology which help them achieving the goal, with huge reduction in costs and timeframe o Quote from CP5 strategy on Level Crossing: ● In CP5 we plan to reduce significantly the risk from the public misuse at level crossings by upgrading the protection at high risk locations, extending the programme of work started in CP4. The prioritisation of the type and timing of enhancements is informed by a whole life cost model specifically developed to support cost benefit appraisals for level crossings.
