From the 2014 Rotary Convention (#ricon14) in Sydney, the 3 June workshop about how Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) can mobilize young people, inspire them to be leaders, and connect them with Rotary’s global community.

• International RYLA is a global leadership
event focused on developing the next
generation of leaders
• Connects young leaders with Rotarian
teachers, mentors, and facilitators from
around the world.

Objective
• To help iRYLArians learn that Rotary spirit is
in service & fellowship in action.
• iRYLArians are expected to be “ Rotary
Global ambassadors”
• iRYLA participants will become better leaders
within their communities
• iRYLArians become more involved in Rotary

Young leaders (aged 19 to 30) committed to
their local communities
*Experience of District RYLA not required
*Young Rotarians may also apply
*Must be sponsored by local Rotary District
*Rotary Affiliation is not required to attend
