Dear Sir,
In my years I’ve worked as a Fabricator of metals with Welding and Maintenance capabilities.
During this time I started making Heat savers, then advanced to Metal Fabrication, which involved Hand
layouts of the product from a Blueprint or schematic to the operation of Press brakes, Iron workers, Plate
rolls, Fork trucks, Over head cranes, welders, and welding, etc to produce a finished product.
I’ve also worked for other companies since being a displaced worker from Dumont Industries,
following their bankruptcy in 2002. Since then I have been in search of my ideal job and have expanded
my experiences, but have not found anything with the challenges or respect given to me at Dumont Ind.
My interest has always been to both better my family and myself. I had returned to collage (but
for now that has been put on hold due to illnesses in my family and conflicts with work schedules) to
learn a new trade in Electromechanical Technology; with the hope of getting into a Maintenance or Green
technology position and am giving a small business a shot, but things have really been to sporadic, but
now need to find something a little more secure.
I would like to be considered for a position within your company. My abilities far surpass most in
Metal fabrication, Welding, and my Maintenance abilities are not far behind, if given the opportunity to
work for you in a new trade I will do my best to accomplish what is asked of me.
My resume explains my experience and abilities; I also have letters of recommendations that
might be of importance to you.
Sincerely,
Robert A Horstman Jr
