Strengthening Family farming is at the heart of the Belgian strategy for agriculture and food security. In different contexts and with different approaches and tools, the Belgian bilateral cooperation aims to strengthen the underlying systems on which family farming relies and to improve market access in a more inclusive and sustainable way. The presentation will illustrate with some examples from ongoing or past BTC experiences in different countries, how effective the articulation between technical, organizational and policy dimensions in that perspective can be.
