-Develops initial tentative conclusions as to appropriate referral sources or recommended
treatment to the FAP staff; prepares case folders, and incorporates notes and appropriate forms in
the folders. On a pre-approved basis, provides basic counseling services to clients.
-Provides information on available on and off-base resources and services available, such as
those provided by the Family Support Center and community agencies.
-Administers assessment data collection instruments such as Child Abuse Potential Inventory,
Family Environment Scale, Index of Marital Satisfaction, and others as required to individuals
referred to the FAP.
-Participates with the FAP staff in the development and implementation of outreach/prevention,
resource and referral, and treatment programs for individuals, families, and groups needing

-Markets a wide range of secondary prevention programs to Senior Enlisted Navy leaders,
